20190705 Press Release - The City of Lago Vista will begin work on the Boggy Ford Rehabilitation project beginning Monday 5 August 2019. This is a two-stage project that will begin with the removal and repair of damaged sections of roadway. This first section should take approximately 90 days to complete and will cause delays in traffic flow.
City crews will stage on National and will have that section of roadway closed. The construction area will begin at National and go west towards the Fire Department. During construction, Boggy Ford will have only one lane open; flagmen will be present to direct traffic through the construction zone. We ask that you plan accordingly and use caution while driving through our construction zone. Please be aware of our workers and the surrounding environment.
The second stage of this project will include resurfacing all of Boggy Ford with asphalt. We do not have a definitive timetable for when this second stage will begin but will provide an update as soon as the plan is confirmed.

A Guide to What You Can and Can't Flush and Put Down the Drain
This resource was developed to help educate residents about effectively disposing of wastes that can or can't go through household drains and flushes. It's the day to day things that, when improperly disposed of, can accumulate over time and can potentially pollute, damage properties and harm human or wildlife.
Waste disposal has always been a matter of concern and everyone in the community must take the initiative to correct improper waste disposal habits right where it usually begins - at home.
